The Alumni Gathering!
Hello!
Yes … this is the secret and 100% private page that ONLY graduates of the May-June 2011 Hot Yoga Doctor Pro Teacher Training have access to.
What it is for?
Glad you asked …
Well some people (ahem … Zoe …) have been wanting for ages to share contact details (and Zoe has pics to send you … so there is motivation!).
So by using the comments section, you can:
a. Post your contact details to share (this is a secure page, protected by your login and access permissions. Only you – meaning 2011 Graduates – have access)
b. Swap resources
c. Download things we have for you – Robert has promised his Cliff’s Notes for Tony Schwartz for example and I’ve also asked him to supply some NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) resources that a couple of people have asked me for … so stay tuned for that 😉
Your Mission (Should You Decide To Accept It) …
Post something below!
Talk to you soon 🙂
Gabrielle

Thank you for giving us the oppertunity!
You know, Norway is far away from Cost Rica and all the lovely sharing yoga people there. It’s a little bit lonly feeling to burn for yoga all on my own. There is a lot of things to think about and questions which arrives.
Anyway I want to share with you that I have opened my own small studio at home. It’s open 3 times a week and have place for 5 persons. I’ m still traveling with my original job so it fits me perfect. I am using gas heather and a electric fan. It works very well and I only use a quarter to heat up the room:-)
I hope you are all doing fine and I do follow some of you on FB and see that you are REALLY doing fine. I’m happy for you:-)
Love and hugs from Yvonne
Ivonne: kudos!! Your own studio, amazing!!! So glad for you, now I know where to practice in Norway. Hope to see u soon
Hi everybody!
Zoe here. I have started teaching at Hot Yoga Therapy in Kernersville, NC. I didnt start teaching until the end of September so it was a little overwhelming to begin back, but eventually I got there 😉 Chunking was the key! And last night I felt totally off my rocker, but you know what I didnt do? I didnt use that fabulous “end of the stick”- focus-on-something far-away-from-you-trick, and MAN did I feel the difference. So thank you Robert, for having a very useful tool for me to rely on.
Fellow students/teachers: I want everyone’s email addresses. Please shoot me an email at zoehwells@gmail.com if you want CDs of the videos and photos I took. Depending on how many cds there are and postage, I may need to charge a little for materials but I couldnt imagine it being more than $10 or so (unless international shipping is outrageous
;-). In ANY case, whether you want photos or not, Id still like to keep in touch with you via email. I dont do facebook (I just cant stand it, I apologize), so having your direct email address would be awesome!
If anyone is near central NC or in Key West, FL any time soon, let me know. I am CRAVING to see you people!!!
Thanks Gabrielle and Robert for putting this together. I miss everyone very much.
Zoe

Hi All,
Yvonne: wow, your own studio in your home… I remember you saying on the bus ride from the airport that you weren’t sure sure that you would actually teach afterwards and now you have your own teaching space… that’s amazing, and I’m certain that the people who come are very thankful you decided to do it.
Laura: I remember reading on Facebook that you started teaching very shortly after getting back and I was very impressed. How is teaching going now? Are you bringing your Spanish Salsa sexiness to your classes?
Zoe: Wahoo! I have your email now, so you shall shortly be hearing from me. That’s exciting that you started teaching in September… the expanded focus is very helpful… I remember how dramatically it changed how you read the passage from the book… without any conscious effort.
Jane: Thanks so much for the recipe… I can’t wait to try it out… I have a can of chickpeas in the cupboard and almost everything else in the fridge. All I need is the beetroot, there is some here, but I miss the prevalence of it in NZ.
Gabrielle and Robert: Thank you for creating this space…. it’s lovely to have a place for us to share with each other.
The update from my life is that I started teaching the middle of September out of an Ashtanga studio. At first it was 1 class/week, now it’s 2 and starting in November I’ll be teaching another class in a different studio outside the city. I’ve met 2 fabulous ladies and we are now teamed up in order to open our own hot yoga studio here. I’ve also met another hot yoga teacher, who talking with her has really made me appreciate everything we learned from Gabrielle, Robert and each other. Before each class I have an intention, a direction to focus the class, and I also go in with two names of each of you whose unique energy that I am choosing to ‘harness’ for that class. So you all are very much alive in my heart, even though we are scattered around the globe.
Love Koreen
